Final Action on the Justice for All Act

After years of hard work and appeals by activists around the country, both houses of Congress have passed the Justice for All Act (HR 5107) -- a bill that includes the Innocence Protection Act. This legislation will help improve access to post-conviction DNA evidence, provide funding so that DNA rape kits can be tested, improve the quality of legal representation in capital cases, and increase compensation for the wrongfully accused. This is an important incremental step in reducing the risk of executing an innocent person. Background information on the legislation is available at http://justice.policy.net/cjreform/ipa/.

Please call President Bush and ask him to sign the Justice for All Act into law! The number to call is 202-456-1111.
